Anderson School Ipoh 100 years Celebration

It has been at least 23 years since I have left Anderson School in Ipoh to pursue my further studies. I left the school in 1985 after my SPM examination. This year, my school its celebrating its centinal celebration and I took the opportunity to pay my school a visit earlier this year. All the memories started to flood back and brings a smiles to my face.

Though I saw a few new buildings and upgrades done to the school, it was also sad to see some of my old Chemistry and Biology labs was neglected.

Datuk Lat, (Famous Malaysian Cartoonist) was a student in this school. I am his fans before I even knew he was a student there.

There were loads of activities during that week of celebration, band procession, fireworks display, golf tounaments, dinner, etc. The most enjoyable was to meet up with some of my old school mates. Some look the same and some more prosperous but anyway, it was great catching up with them. We exchange business cards and even added each other as friends in Facebook!

This is where all the scouting activities took place. It's now a used as a workshop, I think.

I am really happy to be part of the celebration and of this historical event. This is a year long celebration and hope that this prestigious school will continue educating the young students in Ipoh for many many years to come.
